A shoot with me isn’t just about showing up and hoping for the best. The better you prepare, the more cinematic, confident, and powerful your results will be. This is a collaboration, not a transaction. When you come in prepared, the visuals stop being random and start feeling intentional.
Before anything, you should know your why.
Ask yourself what you want these photos or videos to do for you. Are they for your brand? Your website? Social media? A campaign? Your personal identity? When you’re clear on that, everything else becomes easier to shape.
Next is wardrobe.
What you wear sets the tone before we even touch the camera. Solid colors, clean lines, and intentional styling always read more cinematic than loud patterns or heavy logos. Think timeless over trendy. Think presence over distraction. Your outfit should support the story, not compete with it.
Grooming matters more than people realize.
Fresh hair, clean skin, trimmed facial hair, and simple makeup go a long way. Cinematic lighting highlights detail, which means preparation shows. You don’t need perfection, you need intention.
YOU GOT THIS !!
Rest is underrated.
When you’re tired, it shows in your eyes and posture. A good night of sleep makes you look more alive, more confident, and more present. That alone can change the entire energy of your shoot.
Trust the process
Most people walk in nervous. That’s normal. My job is to guide you. You don’t have to know how to pose. You don’t have to perform. I’ll direct you through movement, posture, and expression until it feels natural. The best moments always happen when you stop trying to “look good” and start just being present.
Bring references if you have them.
Music, photos, moods, or even words. Anything that helps communicate your vision gives us a stronger starting point.
And come open-minded.
Some of the best shots happen when we adapt on the spot. Light changes. Energy shifts. Sometimes the unexpected becomes the best part of the shoot.
